One comment made me wonder

Many use a script to test cpus, gpus using games on youtube, clean systems, fresh installed windows no antivirus,no geforce experience, no crap running in the background + some use a different pc to record it

Results are different than a real pc with an old installed windows (not fresh installed) lot's of things running in the background

Which benchmark site on youtube can you trust to do real benchmarks, tests ?

I like MSI Gaming live stream live builds. They don't sugar coat anything in those.

TPU is by far the most reliable of them ALL.

Take a look, here. You can see that the memory spec is listed as 6000 CL36 2x16GB for both the LGA1700 parts and the AM5 parts. And THAT is impartiality at its FINEST.

Honestly, I watch YT for fun. I base my decisions/advices on TPU reviews, if available of course. There is no 5700X3D review on TPU for instance and that's OK, for that I can go to GN or TechSpot as some of the examples. TPU holds the first place though.

Cheers!

But who buy's in a real world senario 6000mhz cl 36 ddr 5 ram ?

Many know it's 6000mhz cl 30 for ryzen and 6400mhz cl 32 for intel (as i remember), 6000mhz 36 cl is not what can be used as something the avarage person buys, but used both for intel and amd is good, since there isn't a difference in ram speed

With a 6000 CL36 2x16GB kit, it's about as apples to apples comparison as it gets and that's what we truly want to see when we're reading/watching a review.

Did you know that some websites review the ZEN4 parts with 5200 and LGA1700 ones with 5600 (default JEDEC spec)?!

I mean, it's crazy, why would SB do such a thing?! It serves no purpose especially in terms of gaming performance. You simply cannot base your decision-making on that because it is NOT an apples to apples comparison and thus a pointless endeavor.

I would argue that's not really fair. If one platform supports 6000 max and the other one 8000 max using 6000 for both isn't really fair, right?

There is always something not even with these benchmarks whether it be ram speed, ram timings, thermal etc etc.. it’s never going to be even and ultimately the benchmarks you are suppose to use them as a guideline as to what you would expect when building a system.

Sounds like for single-monitor situations 7800X3D is still the best choice. Personally I don't notice much FPS dropping even if I have a couple browsers with open tabs, messaging app and audio player in the background. Even on my 7600X. I guess I do lose some milliseconds in all kinds of small ways of course.
