Considering picking up a shiny new Zotac 4090 (love the look of their cards this gen), but I've found a LOT of complaints about their fan noise. Case in point:

This vid is from several months ago and AIBs can/do update their cooling solutions as issues crop up. So I'm curious, to people who have recently purchased a Trinity or Amp Aero card, has this been fixed or is the hum still there?

No hum on my Zotac. It’s been good. A little fan noise at about 65-70%. But they are dual ball fans so.. prolly won’t be silent.

So nothing like in that vid? My case is kitted out with Silent Wing 4s capped around 1200rpm, so that would drive me nuts.

Silence is def a top priority, but Zotac's white cards are really, really sexy looking. Decisions, decisions. :shadedshu:

Yeah, they aint too bad, I started to hear mine around the 30/35% mark and onwards.

The beauty about them though is they aint got no coil whine

Average, noise during normal use, 30%-40% speed while case/cpu fans are running at ~900rpm and above I cant really tell the noise from the GPU. The closer to 50% you get however they become noticable. Not great as far as pitch, at least i can tell these apart from other fans on my system at that point.

The real issue is idle fan noise, when the fans kick in while my system is idling with case fans at around 600rpm the gpu fans kicking in becomes absolutely audible (30% very much audible hum) while it lasts.
Very noticeable comparing this gpu and my previous 3 gpus (900series gigabyte/ 20series asus / 30series asus) The fans are definitely of much lower quality compared to the big manufacturers.

Thanks for the info! Your setup looks great btw.

How is Zotac's ARGB control? I've read it can't be synched with Signal or OpenRGB.

I don't think so, the RGB control is something i dont mess with any more since it bugged out at some point and all rgb was switched off (guessing somekinda controller glitch) and i had to use some Chinese zotac 30series controller reset app someone pointed me towards here in the forums that managed to reset it.
