The ADATA Ultimate SU800 is a solid-state drive in the 2.5" form factor, launched on August 25th, 2016. It is available in capacities ranging from 128 GB to 2 TB. This page reports specifications for the 1 TB variant. With the rest of the system, the ADATA Ultimate SU800 interfaces using a SATA 6 Gbps connection. The SSD controller is the SM2258H from Silicon Motion. ADATA has installed 32-layer TLC NAND flash on the Ultimate SU800, the flash chips are made by Micron. Please note that this SSD is sold in multiple variants with different NAND flash or controller, which could affect performance, the "Notes" section at the end of this page has more info. To improve write speeds, a pseudo-SLC cache is used, so bursts of incoming writes are soaked up more quickly. The Ultimate SU800 is rated for sequential read speeds of up to 560 MB/s and 520 MB/s write; random IOPS reach up to 80K for reads and 80K for writes.
At its launch, the SSD was priced at 270 USD. The warranty length is set to three years, which is above average, but shorter than the five years offered by many other vendors. ADATA guarantees an endurance rating of 800 TBW, a good value.

Notes

Drive:

When the drive was first released in 2016 it first had 3-years warranty, recently ADATA increased to 5-years.
NAND Flash Bus speed might operate at 525 MT/s ~ 533 MT/s.
New revision that came with Samsung V4 V-NAND 64-Layers had a quite small pSLC Cache and higher sustained speeds.
And it also had much less overprovisioning because of the less dense dies (256Gb) compared to the first revision (384Gb and 768Gb)

NAND Die:

tPROG with overhead: 1630 µs (Avg - 19.6 MB/s)
