why does atari's support suck

does anyone know how I can get in touch with them I emailed them last week and they won't answer back, I called them they send me to an answering machine then hang up the phone 3 times, and acted like they don't speak english,(maybe they didn't) THEIR SUPPORT SUCKS.

I need to get a cd key for the witcher because I have the version that comes packaged with video cards and you can get a cd key if you talk to them so i can register the game and get by a glitch and update to the enhanced edition but I can't get them because they're support is lazy, anyone got any idea's

They are too busy *snicker* coding genre defining games of the *snicker* upmost quality so they don't need to give support. Plus it's my belief there are 3 employees at atari who make games, do the marketing and give the support (the support guy's a real slacker).

all I can say now is F$ck Atari, I called them and they made me so mad I exploded on em and then they hung up on me when I called back after they hung up on me when I tried to ask for a supervisor,

MAYBE just MAYBE, Get in touch with who you had your v cards of and show them how unhappy you are and maybe you can get a good responce of them...

Also if you have any chance that you could send them back let them know this...

Hehe I was a beta tester on Test Drive Unlimited. I immediately told them they broke the 5.1 sound with the patch.
They told me I needed to check my speaker settings??? Yeah that's the problem....
They put out the patch with the same broken sound and of course the forums erupted with dozens of posts about broken sound...(which of course they never fixed)
So if they can't even listen to their beta testers I don't even wanna think about how they deal with support issues...

No, Atari just sucks.

Test Drive Unlimited, ban the people who make the patch (unsupported, unofficial, and it works) from your forums, never finish patching a mediocre port and leave the game to die.

Because they are not Atari anymore. I traded their stock a while back. They were bought in 2008 by InfoGrames Entertainment. The merger was completed on Oct 9, 2008.

Infogrames Entertainment (IESA) is almost chapter 11. Broke. IMO. Thus they are not going to help you, because they don't have the staff to do so anymore. In fact, IESA has laid of 25% of their workforce. IESA is a French owned company and they are privately held I believe, or they have been delisted off the stock market.

Here their contact info...send them letters explaining your disgust with their support. Or call them.

Again, all my opinion and what I learned while trading Atari stock. This all may or may not be true. What is true is they offer horrible support and they are burning many bridges with their user base.
