I didnt see this posted so i thought i would do it... this weekends steam deal is the racing game Grid.
Its an awesome game seriosuly, if you love racing games and have $15 dollars laying around this is the game for you! Seriosuly i lowered my settings to low 800x600 and such and it still looks amazing, the controls are great the physics are great and the rewind feature is awesome..try it out tell me what you think

Its a great game, perfectly in between arcade and sim racing games. Very enjoyable.
It can get very frustrating tho lol, but what game doesn't.

Wow, £7.49 for GRID...shame I bought it full price the day it came out last year! You'd be daft not to pick it up if you haven't already.

The one factor that makes that deal an absolute tragic waste of resources is that it is on STEAM. Why deal with STEAM when you dont have to? That game is cheap as chips in the stores now and they dont want to install njo Spyware or Adware on your computer.

Because one i vowed not to buy retail games at stores anymore. and two i only buy games if thyr extremely cheap or on a good weekend deal...nothin wrong with steam i'd imagine in fact i prefer having steam on an online account then having to worry about disks and updates etc etc...... wasn't a steam bashing thread btw :shadedshu

Well picked this up, I wasn't gonna, but I remember playing it a long time ago and having a decent time with it. Got to try it more recently at a friends' house, and it was a hoot along with looking damn good. I never did try DiRT, but I'll give GRiD a go..something fresh from Pro Street in this arena...though this game can't be nearly as fun as Burnout Paradise...that game is just a riot...but much less about racing and being even semi-serious about it.

I'm definately stoked to pick it up for pretty damn cheap in the end. Downloading now. :toast:
