Hey, I've been having a problem with my Paypal account for the last week. I can log in fine and do whatever I need to do when I log in by going to the site, but when I try to log in when I'm redirected from a site such as Newegg in order to complete payment for something it goes like this:
- Enter email/password
- Security questions
- It says I timed out, takes me back to log-in page
- Enter email/password again
- "Your identity could not be verified. Please contact Customer Service at the telephone number below so that we may assist you with your password."
- Go back to log in, enter info, get that ^^ message again.
I've called the number, but it's just telling me stupid things like oh you might have caps lock on or something. Odameyer said something about having to enter a confirmed CC number, but I've been using this account for years and have never had this problem. As I said, I only get this when trying to pay for something via paypal and can log in by just going to the site. Without fixing this problem I won't be able to buy anything, so has anyone else had this problem? Whatta I do?
