I am getting a 256GB 830 tomorrow and will be using it as my only drive.
1.) I plan to use MagicTune to check/update firmware, should I do this after I install Win 7 on the SSD? Or should I plug in my SSD and run it off my current HDD? (I also plan to use MagicTune at all times as it says Samsung recommends this)
2.) Should I follow the steps listed here in full even though I am using MagicTune?

Disable Index/page file/prefetch/superfetch... are these tips legit or harmful for us MagicTUne users? I already know to disable defrag, hibernate, and system restore. Thanks for any help.
