Hello all. Posting on behalf of a friend of mine. Lately he has been having some issues with lag. Basically what happens is in pretty much any game things will be running great at 60 FPS and suddenly drop to something like 20 or so. This happens for about 20 seconds or so until everything can fully load and after that it is fine until more graphic intense areas. The specs for his computer are totally fine including.....
RAM: 8GB ripjaw
CPU: FX8120 overclocked to 4.0Ghz
GPY: Gtx550TI
PSU: 630W Raidmax
The only thing we can possibly think of is the PSU? He hasn't always had this problem. BIOS has been updated, video card updated, nothing running in the background.
What do you guys think?
