First water cooled pc in two decades

I will be pulling the Ryzen 7900 and RX 6800 XT out of the King 95 case to be used in the new JONSBO case. My priority with this build is to get rid of all visible cables and open up the visuals by eliminating a huge cpu air cooler. The back connector motherboard will accomplish the first part and the water cooling the second. Sadly there will still be a cable visible due to the graphics card, but the design of the case will at least limit that cable to around 3". In short, it's entirely about the appearance. I'm forever done with conventional motherboards.

When you are working on a small easily manageable piece of tubing, you can feed in just the correct amount of solder with almost nothing to clean up. You may want first to try it before writing it off.

Do you think that mixing colours that are pretty close to each other is a good idea? From an aesthetic point of view? Like having a real copper tube and a fake copper colour fitting right next to it?

Myself I am not very "aesthetically cultured" person, however the rule of not mixing colours that are very close to each other is so basic that even I know it.

Yeah, it will be fine...I tweaked the fins a bit and gave it a shot of paint yesterday. Flushed the radiator this morning and blew it dry with the air compressor. Looking like all the remaining parts will be rolling in today.

What size fan screws are normally used to attach 25mm fans to a radiator ? 30mm x ? Edit - Nvm, just found a screw package in the box.

Question - Does it really matter which ports are used for the inlet and outlet lines? I was planning on the inlet coming in from the top and the outlet as shown in the image below.

Like this... One of the lower ports appears to intersect with a tube to the upper chamber. The other lower port is directly open to the bottom chamber.

Top inlet is fine plug the other.
Outlet should be marked because there is only one outlet usually.

No marking of any kind. One port is slightly lower than the other...the one that is not connected to the upper chamber. Just did a pressure test blowing in from the top and I can't see any difference it would make...it's all connected to one another. I suspect the higher port connected to the tube that leads to the upper chamber was originally designed to be a inlet to prevent splash and direct bubbles upward.

I'd guess the right is the outlet because it has a tunnel channel
The left doesn't meaning it's the inlet pretty much to fill the reservoir.

I guess my thought was since all of it is interconnected why not use the lowest outlet...that is where the drain needs to be anyway unless that internal tube is serving a specific purpose. :confused:

Well the left port on that image you posted earlier is okay for a drain like you had it originally
Not sure why you had a "T' on it but looks like the lowest point so all good :cool:

I like items with lots of options but that one needs some basic signs of what they are designed to be lol

The Tee was to allow another fitting without having to put a 90 degree fitting in the other port.

More fluid and cost
Can also get you some extra fluid temp mixture but seeing it's dumping into the res straight out of a rad it's fine being smaller.

I really need to install the video card to make certain this is level.

Glad I checked because there was some slight gpu interference with the reservoir. There isn't as much room here as it appears on screen lol.
