First water cooled pc in two decades

Hi,
Should be able to go by top and bottom and just get close to those numbers.
GPU's usually need a leg to get them parallel with the case world.

I sure hope you confirmed which port that is your piping to the cpu with I was thinking it looked more like a inlet not a outlet
The port on the right has a tunnel and that looks to be going to the center of the pump.

I found no way to confirm anything about this pump/res. I did pressure test the ports and they are all interconnected, so I assume it really doesn't matter. Should be pressure at any port, right?

Hi,
Well the port are different
If it didn't matter they both would have tunnels the same place
Which exact brand/ model reservoir is that you never did say unless I missed it ?

Guessing you have it correct
Saw a couple builds and all used the left as outlet.

FYI - the port that goes to the centre of the pump is = the suction (supply) and the other is the = discharge (supply)

I'm going to have to completely redo the section from the reservoir outlet to the waterblock inlet...something went wrong during reassembly and the ends are canted. I could probably rectify it with a coupling, but it's only time after all.

I don't have one of those fancy 24-pin jumper plugs. Need to figure out which two pins to jump so I can start the psu. The wires are not color coded on this particular unit.

Yes, that's right. The COM (black) above the green will work too.

This is a pretty sweet looking build. I will add to the earlier conversation that I've found a slightly larger reservoir makes filling easier as you can put more in at a time before cycling the pump. It doesn't make that much difference otherwise, but the easier time filling or doing maintenance the better I've found. Sometimes it just doesn't fit. Sometimes it isn't worth the trade-off though, so it really is just up to you and what you need.

How's the viscosity of that orange Peak pre-mix? Good old fashioned green anti-freeze & water was a little too thick, IMO, back in my playing with a chiller days.

You really do not need to put such a strong solution in it, in terms of corrosion protection and biocidal properties even a much weaker solution would work just fine.

Loading Win 11 atm. Went into bios and put the pump and fans on PWM so I could hear. CPU was at 40c last I looked.

No idea on the viscosity, but doesn't appear to be abnormally thick. I have the pump turned down a bit and it seems to be fine.

I went with the 50/50 antifreeze simply because I don't have any distilled water on hand and likely won't in the future. I prefer to not get into the weeds with specific dilution rates if I can help it.

Going through the new install and trying to get everything back to my liking. All said this was not too awful for a first attempt with hardline, but I know I can make this one better. I'll leave it be for a spell and make improvements at a later date. I still have plenty of cable management to do on the back side...
