UT3 Game play

Well 3 years of waiting and its a damn nice game alot I still have to learn perhaps some of you have played it and have some answers can you pick and stick with a chartecter?
Anyway I would like to play online but my skill set is not that great what I need is a server that has a bunch of sucky players on it :laugh:

It's definatley fun, but it's plagued with issues much like Gears of War. There's an unfortunate amount of players who cannot connect to servers, and so far Epic or Midway(whichever it was/is) has done zilch to address it.

1440x900 is freaking beyound words and taking some time to get used to.The vehicals I cant figure out how to control them but still fun trying to figure it out.

Ha if you have the sniper rifle you can score a head shot which blows the head off the body and that is worth the 49.99 :laugh:

is the game any good on xbox 360 if its not then id get it on pc but i have to wait till next year possibly before i get a new graphics card, besides all the cheap and not overpriced hd 3870 are sold out maybe next year when the new nvidia stuff comes out they will have a card with better performance but similar price to the hd 3870

Oh man I am really getting out of the gaming game (so to speak) at the wrong time! UT3 sounds frickin wicked and I won't get a chance to play it for a while yet. I just hope it harks back to the original UT more than UT2003 which I played once and hated, such a let down after UT which had been my favourite game ever.

Just checked, it won't come out on Xbox 360 until next year, only out for PC/PS3 for now.

From what epic says, the 360 is gonna be different then the pc/ps3 ones. First of all no mods, no kb/m support, perhaps less players due to XBL (for some reason), and no chance of being cross multiplayer (pc and ps3 could be cross multiplayer in the future).

I will admit, I torrented it. I played the single player. It was amazing. I went to game stop and bought it so I could have multi-payer. It feels like 04 with modern graphics, getting a flow going is a little different, but I think its a little better. although I am terrible against other people lol.

I thought I was the only one that 'test drove' games before I buy. If it's awesome, I'll go out and buy it. Sue me for supporting those who make good games, and hoping that those who make crappy games die quickly.

UT3 is so pretty, and the requirements are actually pretty low for a game this new.
I like the surfboard, and ALL the new vehicles.

A little update on the game. There are 169.28 drivers out there for XP that are supposed to solve some problems you may have with UT3. I've been using them and haven't had any problems with the game since installing them. However, there is a bit of a performance hit with most the other games I play. So, I can't recommend the 169.28 drivers. I'm switching back to the latese WHQL 169.21's now. I smell another patch coming soon anyways, hopefully we'll be able to scroll our viewing perspective like in 2k4 soon! It's funny how the patches and problems are pretty much identical to what happened when 2k4 came out. I just hope all the bugs can be worked out by patch two instead of four. Hey! I'm at 5 ppd!
