you're kidding right? this video card plays oblivion just fine. its quite capable of playing Black & White. I'm far more likely to believe that its too new than not capable.

that part is rather obvious... it was Microsoft. But, thanks for the tip on 2D only. While Googling to confirm the lack of 3D acceleration, Tomshardware.com suggested using VirtualBox... I'm going to do that since I have access to MSDNAA and I'll just download a copy of Windows XP.
