Because Batman Arkham City is getting low FPS?

You got me... I guess? But If his monitor has at least a 60 Hertz screen rate and his "adaptive vsync" is working properly then the question would be, "Does he think 60 fps is low FPS?" Or my question rather? erocker buddy, I think you've confused me even more... I'm not trying to be a smart ass.. ;) I figured I'd throw this out there as well, because people seem a little testy today..

You need to figure out what adaptive vsync is.................. Its an alternative to vsync + Triplebuffering.

With the latter, you have the risk of lower fps when the frame rate drops below the monitors refresh rate.

With adaptive vsync, when the frame rate drops below the refresh rate, nvidia control panel turns vsync off to allow for better sub-refresh rate performance.

Yeah, but it doesn't work as well as it was made up to be from pre-launch marketting.

Aww.. Got yea. I've not kept up with nvidia features as much with my 5850's being my primary gaming card. I'm home now.. I'm going to try BB:AC and see what results I get with my GTX570.. I'll post back. I've been explaining how an ERP system works to users of the ERP system all day, and posting back here when I get a moment. I feel a little brain dead at the moment.. lol :toast:

Ok a quick update.. My GTX570 plays the game just fine, for the most part it plays it at 60 fps, but in some spots it does drop to around 45 fps, but not 1 fps.. I'm playing at 1680 by 1050. My settings are below and I played with Physx's off :toast:

EDIT: I'm running driver "301.42-desktop-win7-winvista-64bit-english-whql"
