After reading Hayder Master's post, and especially after reading Kreij's post, I had tears to my eyes . I thought that it would be a good time to lighten up the mood !
So today marks my 3rd anniversary at TPU! Accompanying that is that this is my 7500th post, and I have exactly 1000 thanked posts and 1200 thanks I'd like to thank all the TPU members, but obviously a huge shout-out to the TPU Staff and Moderators, to W1zzard, and more recently to the TPU News team who make my recently shorter visits to TPU informative and a pleasant read.
When I first came here, I was 16 years old and had about 1000$ saved up, and all I did with my days was gaming, gaming, gaming! I came here to save some money by learning about computers enough to assemble one myself (just like how my dad would do back in the day). Little did I know how fun it could be to learn these things! I discovered, thanks to TPU, one of my greatest passions . Assembling a computer or picking parts for it, and then OCing it has become just as fun for me as playing games on said computer! But little did I know there was a downside to it... You also have to help every person in your family and your friends etc with their computer problems. Sadly, I have a humongous family :/
Sadly today I do not have the time I had back when I was 16 to continue posting like I used to, University is keeping me busy, and ofc with University comes money problems and with money problems comes many jobs and now that I am 19 it is damn time to have a girlfriend and that is time consuming... so you will not see much of me except poking into news threads and random threads I see in the new posts section.
I just wanted to thank you all for all the knowledge I've acquired thanks to TPU. TPU is really the only forum I've ever really felt part of the community and I can say without a doubt that I will not find a better forum out there for me . It has been a great journey so far, and hopefully it will continue to be!
Have a Great Year 2012!
