which system is awesome ?
Where are you gonna find a 7950gx2 or a 1950xtx now these days (new that is)...your only choice is the 8800gtx.
lol they'd all be "awesome" however,
In order of power consumption:
7950GX2s > 1950XTXs > 8800GTX
8800GTX > 7950GX2s > 1950XTXs most likely
1950XTXs > 7950GX2s ~ 8800GTX
Though as ktr said you'd have to get the 1950s and 7950s used, meaning they'll be out or almost out of warranty (in most cases) making the 8800GTX overall the best buy, not to mention it's newer tech and is DX10
7950gx2 for 440 and that openbox...http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127212R&Tpk=7950GX2
And look at you wanted to SLi two of these (in other words, you have a large budget), go for the 8800Ultra...http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127288
7950GX2s go for ~250 used but even at that are still hard to come by
Even at that, it is possible to pickup at an EXTREME inexpensive 8800GTX for 225-250. Or was it GTS?
Still either way performance wise, 1 8800GTX would be on par with both 7950GX2 SLi'd and 1950xtx CF'd.
lol thanks, use that little thanks button at the bottom right of the post
JR, lol I've never seen a GTX under $400 even used, and even now that the GT is out, you're def. thinking GTS
sli 8800GT is your best bet
out of yours the 8800GTX would be best but check out the GT
forget 7950gx2 in sli mode is no good at all. just think nvidia dint support them in sli mode. the drivers is a mess....
that's all i know for sure. (all this good words and i have a 7950gx2 )
go for 8800gt sli.
