Where are you gonna find a 7950gx2 or a 1950xtx now these days (new that is)...your only choice is the 8800gtx.

lol they'd all be "awesome" however,
    In order of power consumption:
    7950GX2s > 1950XTXs > 8800GTX
    8800GTX wins
    Performance:
    8800GTX > 7950GX2s > 1950XTXs most likely
    8800GTX wins
    Price:
    1950XTXs > 7950GX2s ~ 8800GTX
    1950s win

Though as ktr said you'd have to get the 1950s and 7950s used, meaning they'll be out or almost out of warranty (in most cases) making the 8800GTX overall the best buy, not to mention it's newer tech and is DX10

Even at that, it is possible to pickup at an EXTREME inexpensive 8800GTX for 225-250. Or was it GTS?

Still either way performance wise, 1 8800GTX would be on par with both 7950GX2 SLi'd and 1950xtx CF'd.
