You should really not worry about an overclock anyway. It's a nice card in itself.

well..just make sure ur settings are stable in game and u should be done. ATI tool and 3dmark are a good indication, but with my card i found i could run at a bit higher clocks in 3dmark 06 than i could in cod4. The shaders should be good to at least 1500MHz...thats where voltage issues usually kick in with them.

Hello!
Maybe try in rivatuner change your fan settings.
click to FIX, and take it to 75-80%, and it will be enough, to make your card temperature low.
and in bios settings change your System Memory Multiplier from AUTO to 1:1 (maybe your ram doesnt like 960mhz?).
i have the same CPU (e6750) with intel box air cooler, and with 1Gb Kingmax 800mhz rams i can reach 3,6Ghz with my cpu, but not more, because my ram doesnt like 900+ mhz...
Maybe you have to buy 1066mhz ram, and you can boost your cpu to 8x533 fsb

@Duxx: Yes, stock cooler/fan is running up...I put it on Auto in RT...not sure about Manual Mode now...

@JrRacinFan: Thanks, hehe. Yeah, I know...but one of the main reason's for an OC is due to my modeling in 3D Apps. I usually make really huge textures (5MP+), or create models over 1M polygons + my bad gaming habit...anyways I thought it would be much easier to get a GTX over a Ultra and OC it, thus saving me some cash (which will be a while, but I better start saving now...) =D

@xt198: Haha, thanks for the advice mate. I did that, and I really didn't get that much of a benefit out of CPU, + mine had reached already voltage 'safety' limits.
As for the RAM...it's very OC'eable, but it's just that I almost didn't get any gains out of it, so I'm keeping it at 'stock OC' levels for now.

But hey, in a few months time, I might just take your word and do what you said =D
