Just installed them on my rig, i did have the issue with the 8.12s not installing and been classed as "incompatible" with my gpu's in the error 43 issue some people had.
After installing the 9.1s i only got to see the curser, the rest of my login screen was black, i managed to login and could still only see my curser, the rest of the screen was black unfortunately (i could tell the machine had finished loading by the hdd activity light), had to system restore to 8.11hotfix from safemode.
Can anyone else who suffered from the error 43 issue with the 8.12s confirm that it still does not work and it's not just my system playing me up even more?
##update##
as i've posted later on in the thread this issue was fixed by doing a proper reg clean of the 8.11 x58 hotfix drivers and re-downloading the driver install package again.

The game never gives the option to launch DX9, you have to add "-dx9" after the target when you edit the launch properties for a shortcut to the game. Good luck.

I remember hearing that 9.1 would only consist of what the 8.12 hotfix already offered.

Yeah, after all, ATI kinda needs to beta test before Windows 7 is release, otherwise Nvidia will screw ATI over again. I mean, I hope in the meantime someone could find a hack to make W6 compatible with Vista drivers in the meantime since they are very similar in OS features...well...kind of.

GTA IV has more corruption in the face not being rendered...Messed up sound with the people talking too...now I get like the music and stuff but in game speach is gone.seems to bench the same though.
