9.12 for Vista/Win7 x86/x64

As I have stated earlier on my rig the CCC looses focus on the slave card (the one the monitor is NOT hooked up to) It will work for about 15 seconds then the fan ramps down and you can no longer see fan speed nor usage nor clocks nor temperature. :shadedshu

I got that with the 9.12 Hotfix. 9.12's seem to be working great. Try one or the other. :toast:

I might just have to do it and tell everyone...... but if it's a bad thing or if there is no point I would like to hear before I do? Maybe I should start a thread on it..... I f I don't hear from anyone I will do it myself and then start a thread.

Thanks..... I guess I am going to have to try it.......

On a side note...... I just tried out my PC and 5870 on a 37 inch LCD TV. MAN it played fairly smooth with the 9.12 CCC and I did this for the first time.

With that said I smell an unnecessary purchase in my future! Looking into my crystal ball and I see a "30 inch monitor" Muh ha ha ha (As my pinky raises to my mouth)

Oh another thing, when i turn my computer on, it starts up normal for about 5 secs then it just restarts itself, is that normal :wtf:

Isn't the fan control in it's normal place????? In the CCC?....

Also If you are talking about your fan starting up real fast and then restarting...... Yes that is normal my 5870 does it sometimes I have also had both Nvidia and ATI cards do that before. They Rev up real fast for a second during boot and then subside.... then start at normal speed you have set once you are in windows.

Holy hell killa where'd it go? LMAO I dunno bud are you running 7? If so have you tried running the Drivers in XP virtual mode yet? See if that gets a response? I don't think it's your card now. But Jesus Christ man.... I have never seen that.... LOL

Also have you tried downloading AMD GPU tool and maybe Afterburner. See if you can control it from there? That pics looks like my old 3870 CCC.

i noticed my FPS in CoH dropped a lot lower than usual (lagging heavily late game) on the hotfix drivers.

May be related that i came out of S3 sleep before playing.

Going back to 9.12 regular now.

I updated the bios and I have fan control now, but i still get issues with the video card in games nd other shit, plus the fan control is buggy too, I manually set it to any speed then it just jumps up to 100% then it slowly decreases to the speed I selected, worst video card ever, i wont be getting XFX or dual video cards anymore!

You Sir are correct the Hotfix 9.12's were the cause...The normal 9.12's works as they should....I wonder whats up with the hotfix? Thnx erocker

I get the slave card vanishing act and also i can no longer adjust my hdmi settings under desktop`s and dispaly`s,I have no little monitor with 9.12 cat and 9.12 hot fix,Put 9.11`s and it is fine.
That is under Vistax64 bit everything under Win7 x64 is fine.

everyones having trouble with a beta hotfix driver. theres a reason they were released as a beta/hotfix, and not as the main driver.
