OK i have my system specs up so you can see.
OK i also just realized that my PSU's 12v rails only run 18A... should i be running 26A on both?

Hmm, what is the Superclocked card's stock speeds at?

Maybe take one out just to see what it'll OC alone...there may be some extra stress due to SLI...tho I hear these are pretty much the best cards to SLI, at least on a budget, I love my single card and could only image 2!

You have a decent PSU...do you have any extra power connectors on that board? Maybe near the PCI slots? If so, definately hook it up.

Yea the stock speeds on the card are 675 core and 900 memory clock. yes there is one molex power connector on the board and it is currently plugged in. ok im gonna try and OC just one of the cards and see what results i get =P

What I'm thinking is that you have enough amperage to run both cards, but it may be close, so the draw on them may be too much while overclocking... 18A x 2 is 36Amps total to play with tho...so really you should have some headroom...but your single card results will soon tell of that!

Probably just a card limitation...did you try each card solo?

im working on it my proc is a HUGE!!!!! bottleneck and im having problems with the bridge....it seems its very common when i connect my bridge and open a 3d app i get texture mis coloration but when i remove the bridge and run sli like that it runs fine however this also means the cards have to talk to each other through the pci-e bus which takes away from performance. and my board only supports 8x/8x sli 16x/2x doesnt work so i cant allow any mroe of a performance hit however me and a BFG tech are going over it and he has a bunch of cards to work on and with so he's helping me out because id really rather use the bridge. take a look at the happy b-day solaris thread and check out what my girl got me!!

that's awful man. When do you get your new cpu?
is it isolated to the graphics cards or something else?

card problem i googled it and many many many ppl have the same problem but i tested both cards indavidually and clocked them so their not the problem. i think it has to do with drivers as ppl were able to fix it going back to the87.x drivers however that was with older cards it wont work for me

well I hope you find a way to work it out Sol.

I've noticed no-one has responded about my benchmark programs, so I'm going to assume that peoples are happy with the benches we have listed. If anyone would like to see different programs added just let me know

thanks for the info ... you'll be on the list by morning...
score is pretty close to mine, I pick up a little on the ram while you pick up with xp. Too bad you don't have the 9600gt anymore, it would be interesting to set the same clock speeds and compare the diferences.

I haven't had time to screen shot yet but with my MSI 9600GT OC I have been able to hit 780 on the core and 1050 on the memory by manually changing the fan speed to 100%. Temps are hitting around 56C which seems quite reasonable. At 790 core or 1100 memory I get artifacting in ATI Tool.

Looking at the summary on the first page there are not a lot of people that have tried volt modding. I am looking at watercooling my card so I think I can safely voltmod (if I can use those two words in the same breath). The question is, what voltage to take it to? Once I put the water cooling on I really don't want to be taking it in and out of the case a bunch of times so I would prefer to just shoot for the moon and go straight to the voltage I want to try (rather than incrementally up from 1.1V).

I saw one comment that anything over 1.4V does not yield additional OC. So I was kinda thinking 1.3V might be a good target on the safer side. Anyone care to speculate on what additional OC that might lead to? I know you can't answer precisely since every situation is different but just a general sense?

    Thanks
