The 8600gt is pretty nice, friend has it installed on her dell. You can get a cheaper version than the xfx muffin mann listed, but xfx has a double lifetime warranty, and they don't care if you fry it or not.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150185 heres a 7600gt, no dx10, but its pretty much equal to an 8600gt. Mail in rebates suck, I don't even bother with them. Although the 7600 does have one too.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102700 If you want DX10, then how bout this. 2600xt... with any of these cards you wont notice a big difference in performance.

Ok after looking, I found a Biostar P4M900 motherboard, instead of an AGP slot it has PCI-e x16 slot.

The only other thing worth while that will max out your budget along with that motherboard is an Open Box Asus 256MB 7300GT.

That's is the best I can think of at the moment.

    Motherboard:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138079

    Video card:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121021R

Video card is a downer due to being Open Box though. I say best to save your money a little bit longer and do a full upgrade, cpu/mobo/ram/grfx.

Your board isn't going to get you much of anything. You should just save up for a better upgrade. If you get a better video card, your CPU will bottleneck. If you stick with what you got now, your GPU will bottleneck. Waiting for a more balanced system will be better for you.
