Nope. They are the same. The second one has a build in GPU (Radeon HD 4250) for the extra $5 CAD. That can be useful if your GPU fails. You can use this as a backup and continue to use your computer and some very light gaming while you wait for replacement, RMA, whatever.

Other than that, those two boards are the exact same.

As for the ASRock Extreme3, I suggested that because it has 2 PCIe slots that run at 8x/8x so you can use dual GPU's in the future as a upgrade path. ASRock has for the last few years been making some very sold Overclocking boards on the cheap to help the mid, low-mid price range groups. Plus like their GPU locks, easy to work with when you remove stuff.

I remembered that mATX was starting to bug me but idk why anymore maybe I got confused between mobo and case...

ATX mobo has more PCI slots and a PCI-E x4 slot (would a x4 slot limit a 5770?)

You can always throw in an x6 into the build instead of the x4 if you'd like, it'd still be under $800.

And ya, an x4 slot will degrade video card performance by a fair amount. If it was x8 i wouldn't worry much. But once it gets down to x4...thats where it becomes an issue.

The mobo you picked out looks solid imo, loads of nice features for a nice price.
