ok, I need to throw together a computer for a co-worker. He has very little money right now as the economy has hit him hard. But he needs a new computer since his pII machine just took a crap. Here's a parts list for what I need:
1. Cheap socket 939 processor
*doesn't matter if it is an x2 or not but preferably 90nm and comes with stock heatsink

2. 2 GB low latency DDR 400
* preferably something like this:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227210 this is for me, something I can overclock TBBD ram chips prefered. He'll get my 1 gig kit.

3. Stock heatsink retention bracket and mount(what the bracket mounts to, duh) for socket 939

4. cheap pci-e 256mb or 512mb video card

5. cheap 500watt psu

show me what you got so I can start building this thing!!!!!!

I have a decent 500w psu lying around that I use occasionally for my test bench. You can have it for $20 shipped, which considering shipping costs, is almost free.

how much you willing to sell? all depends on what you want to give me, nothing more than 100 I'd say really. But I'm not sure you'd be fine with that. It also depends on what HE is willing to spend, I'm not buying sh*t for him. But I do have some parts which I'm willing to donate.

If you want to part your computer I'm sure we could work something out. BTW what are the specs on that ram?

edit::nvm i just realized I have a pm LOL, I'll get back to you.

I have an old BFG 7800 pci-e card I'd be willing to part with. Hit me up with a PM if you are interested. It still runs like a champ.
