Me and my mate Pinchy have:
Intel E6400
Asus P5B Deluxe
G.Skill 800mhz
X1950Pro

Our C2D is overclocked from 2.1 to 3Ghz
Is it just us? Or do these temps seem a little hot?

Please post your specs and your temps where possible :)

bios is set to AUTO for voltages atm so i dunno why itd be so high then

Then that's not right. What is the default on a 6400 is it? 1.2v?

il try dropping to 1.35 and check temps

its would work cuz the max fom intel says 1.3525V so if a X6800 can do 2.93 GHz with less i think you should get your 6400 at 3GHz 1.35v or less

What I did was crank up my voltages first then started maxing out my clocks till the point of instability then set the clocks back to stable then started lowering the voltages one at a time so I could find out the minimum voltages required for stable opperation. My northbridge for example is all the way down to it's minimal setting of 1.5v and the fsb voltage is only .1v higher then the minimum setting of 1.2v. $.02

LMAO...glad u worked it out :p

I couldnt get 1.35 Vcore stable in BIOS, i needed it at 1.3750, although in everest its saying its at 1.34V.

NB is at 1.45V in BIOS and SB at 1.6, yet everest says they are: NB 1.25 and SB 1.05

Temps on the CPU went down from 57*C to 50-51*C, motherboard is still the same at 48*C (cant lower mobo voltages or gfx card only uses 1 lane :p)

Still a little hot IMO. I might re-mount the CPU fan and turn it around so i can add the ASUS NB cooler fan
