Does a 1080 tv ever display an image correctly...

On all of my HDTVs the only way to change the setting is a button on the remote. I can't get to the option to change it through the normal menus system.

the HDTV's sold in each region still need to support them, so retarded optimisations get added in that shouldnt be needed.

I used to run my TV just fine until I moved to AMD... Now I also have the black boarder :banghead:

Thing is, sometimes it's there and other times it isn't. One game it goes away on all the time is Sleeping Dogs but have to game at 1366x768 to achieve that.
