Duke Nukem Forever is like Axl Rose. It's been brooding and brewing for so long, waiting for the right opportune moment to unleash it's fury of monolithic and mythological proportions, but as time carries on, it just ends up watching the parade pass it by.

I suppose that would have made more sense a few years ago, seeing as Rose did finally release his album, but you get my point.

GnR were awesome. But I think Rose and Slash cannot exist without each other. I mean Velvet Revolver was "ok". Nothing special. However Appetite for Destruction is a classic. I just wish those two would "kiss and makeup". The world needs GnR now more than ever.

And that video is NSFW. I am still not sure how they skipped the AO rating.

I don't know how either, but it makes me happy. Not that its important that all games have that, but if they had left out nudity in DNF, I would have felt cheated, it's just part of who he is. Also, the DNF website is awesome.

Velvet Revolver is no more dude ,,Thank you ex Stone Temple Pilots lead singer ....Slash kicked him out for heroine use.....Which is funny to me and it is why he left GNR and went to Michael Jackson for work.....then he formed some band back in 94 called Snake Pitt which had an album released ... then he started Velvet up ......As for Slash and AXl to kiss and make up that will be one focking very cold day in hell.

DNF is now under a completely different company than it had been for the previous 11 or so years. It got pushed back a month, not a big deal.

Duke, postal dude and Sam are coolest dudes eva. It'd be kewl if DNF, SS3 and Postal 3 would get released in the same year. I hope DNF won't get Daikatana's fate.

Wait, isn't there a rumor going around that Axl is 'open' to doing the halftime show at next year's Superbowl, if he gets an apology from Slash?

Don't be so quick to rule an apology out. After over a decade and a half apart from one another, and the surgery/rehabilitiation Slash has gone through, he might just let bygons be bygons;;;besides it was him that quit.

I wish Weiland had worked out for Velvet Revolver, but after the Core album, STP was never the same for me and I don't think it was the same for him which may be apparent from his increased and exponential spiral downwards - STP did their thing then went mainstream then fizzled and he knew it.
Maybe I had too high hopes for Weiland coming back for a super group (VR). Anyways, like all GnR related stuff, shit explodes, kaboom, and we move on.

As for Duke Nukem, it's due out this coming month and I expect it will be this time, because even now Yahtzee from Zero Punctuation is preparing his recantment(recession) speech about the concept of DNF never actually launching.
    EDIT: Delayed till June!

In your face pessimist! Go Duke!

Yes, like back in the early 2000s when it was apparent that it was going to be released...the first time : )

Oh yeah a lot of this, they were having some problems at the start though, but managed to pass it now, particularly due to the nature of the gameplay, you defend from aliens, defending the human race, and enemies do not contain humans, just like Alien Vs Predator passed in australia, but there you're actually Predator which ... is not necessairly aggressing but cleaning up humans as well, but still they explained it's because humans are all on their side and not againt each other.

Which makes sense and i do agree.

but these "NSFW" stuff notifiers and "oh that video is NSFW OH OH OMG" - usually from more sensetive west, in europe , i don't think anyone cares if it's nsfw or not. Usually , sites and official presentations still would enforce the age-gate , but people , don't give a damn, nobody's offended. But they are only sensetive to carnage/blood/masacre stuff in countries with those gaming-school-shootings .... i do agree the overuse of gore is not really good and i never feel the pleasure or any benefit or any "great game" from it so i don't care if games don't have gore , but i don't agree games are the cause of school shootings so those are some unjustifiable accusations by some countries, games can only be a catalyst, a person has to be already mentally and morally damaged / disordered (from something else) for games to influence them.

So my reply to the nsfw is: So what;) boobs are nothing bad here, they show it on TV whenever you like and it's not censored.

Not sure about over there, but here, work is about being professional, and watching jiggling pixelated boobs does not fall under the professional category. Yes we've all seen boobs, we've all seen a lot of things, but that doesn't mean we should look at videos or pictures of that at work.

I think we can agree that we all like boobs. It's just not appropriate for the work environment.
