Every single 680 is OOS at the egg too.
No wonder people who got one are asking well over MSRP.

Yea, it's crazy out there. I've spent hours looking at every site I can find.. There are like none left..
Only places like ebay and amazon, even have any, really..

There is no need for them to rush at the moment.
Nvidia may have taken the performance crown, but if you can't get one it sort of makes the victory a bit shallow.

If AMD drops a 7990 (or whatever) and it's comes close to the 690 (say about 10-15% less performance) at a price of about $699 ... it's going to sell like mad.

True! :toast: I still can't get over neweggs price.. Hell you could buy 2 680's cheaper than that, if they were in stock.. At those prices.. I'm going to have to sale my house and live in a tent if I want one.. Of course my wife would never let me do that...

Does your wife have something against tents?

When supply catches up to demand (if ever) then the 6xx series cards should get a little more reasonable in price.
Nvidia had mentioned something about limitted availability at May 3rd launch (read: none) and more in the piple line starting about May 7th. We will see now that goes. So many people want these cards that I think we may see shortages and higher prices for a while yet.

they are all same because they are REFERENCE! you guys are ridiculous. Why would they change anything the shroud is metal and looks sexy as hell already
Sorry but that design doesn't look all that good. Hell this design looks better than the 690

So selling the card for 1,000 for the same freaking design is a scam IMO, but yet people are busy buying them.
