See this is one of the reasons why I like sims. Even with a structured game like NFS Shift, theres always a millisecond you can shave off the time (and Shift isn't even the best example, though I like it).

Something like DCS Black Shark, the Russian heli-sim, has so much depth to it that I can play for ever. And if you get bored then just build your own missions, brilliant!

I have a feeling there are lots that didnt read through the OP...

This isnt a thread about games that sucked so you didnt finish them

This is a thread that a game was so good, you did----not----want---it--to-end.

Read Carefully!!

Oblivion and Bioshock, Bioshock because it scares me, and Oblivion because every time i start to play the game I install a truck load of mods, but then in the middle I find out that one of them is fucking with the game balance, like, awesome equip/magic in the beggining.
I would like to start to play the game but the graphics are too old now

Assassin's creed II has been an amazing game so far, I'm many hours in and I am pretty sure I have played over 15hrs - truly a great sequel which totally fixed all the repetitiveness of the first game. did I mention its beautiful and absolutely filled to the brim with things to do?

GTA4.. I wanted to follow through the story but somehow, knew it was going to end wich gave me that lonely feeling.

Portal also gave me that feeling. Reading reviews first, I knew that it would be short..

Saints row 2 (if you want to whinge about it, get over it, it's fun and that's what matters).
Halo 1 and 2, played through both on legendary with my friend, good times :).
Half-Life 2+ Episodes and portal, loved these so damn much it was unreal.
Rayman 2, pissed me off no end but still incredibly fun!
XIII, I never managed to get to the end because the difficulty curve seemed to go through the ionosphere at one point.
I'm enjoying GTA IV but can't say how much it'll be a case of this (can't wait to get back home and play more though!)

I usually lose interest in a game after about 3 hours of gameplay, except for some select titles (TF2, GTA 4, Gmod). So it's not really that I don't want to finish games, but that I can't. Oh, I do remember when playing LittleBigPlanet and Loco Roco, I was really sad when they ended and I wanted to play more, so I did, which was a good thing :D

Lots of them

Almost all the Call of Duty games. Doom 3, Half-Life 2 I couldn't wait for the other episodes to be released.
FEAR , so I'm playing it a third time. Quake 4. A few others I just can't think of them now. I'm always bummed
when a game ends if it was a good one.

Knowing it would be the last game featuring our beloved Old Snake, I had been looking forward to playing it. When I finally had it in my PS3 and was looking at the main menu I just couldn't believe that I was finally going to play it.

Then, as I advanced through the story, I was feeling kinda sad because after ending it there would be no more Solid Snake. And when I finished it :ohwell: The ending was so emotional :cry:

By the way, this was probably the best game I ever played in my life. My opinion, of course, but totally non-debatable

Solid Snake is awesome. And Big Boss too *wink*wink*

Just bought a PS3 with MGS4. It's a great game so far.

The Metal Gear Solid series is definitely a fantastic bunch of games.

Call of Duty MW2 (xbox)
I didn't want to finish it because it was so good But IW ended it before the mission was over........
so i don't feel like it's over dammit...

I think those Greedy Bast*rds did it on purpose, not for MW3, So they could sell it in expansion packs Like Half Life2, plus I bet they think it will make everyone feel better about paying for the new map packs.....

And every Wing Commander game ever made!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (except 4)

FINAL FANTASY VII.

FF7 was the only game that I spent every day wanting to play anytime I had free time. Took me months to beat the game and I enjoyed every minute of it. I miss being 14 and playing Playstation.
