Owner, your core clocks are great. I seem to see a lot better overclocks on AGP cards over our PCIe variant. Anyone have a clue as to why that is? :(

Yeah well... I run my card on water cooling, so max temp I've seen is 40 Degrees Celsius. And the memory runs great, I have Swiftech Copper Sinks on them, then I custom cut some Swiftech copper sinks, and stuck them on the 3 VRMs.
The GPU can probably go higher than 685 Mhz on Core, but I don't want to push my luck on doing so, I am afraid of damaging my card. As for memory it starts artifacting only at 860 Mhz, 850 Mhz is rock stable for 6 hours in AtiTool. But I run 820 Mhz to be safe. My timings are not stock however, and neither is the gpu voltage. Core voltage is 1.4 V, and Timings are:
CAS Latency - 7
RAS to CAS Read - 6
RAS to CAS Write - 5
Row Precharge Time - 7
Row activate to Row active CMD Time - 8
Read to write turnaround Time- 16
Memory Refresh Rate - 0x74
Refresh Row Cycle time - 0x2C (Unaltered)

Nothing changed...so far Aqua's score stayed the same. Using CCC's Overdrive still flickers..

lol as much as I love boobs, I'm pretty sure that pic wil get axed :p bofore it does tho I saved it :D There will be a new BIOS, but right now I'm exclusively working on a BIOS for palit\xpertvision cards. The BIOS on them deliberately screws up OC attempts, as the PCB is so different on these cards to others, all I can really do is use some pretty aggressive hacks as the BIOS appears to handle some things differently.

So using normal mod cant solve the problem eh. No wonder I bought this Xpertvision 512 Super
at very low price compared to others. By the way is there any possibility to overcome this ocbility problem?:respect:

Silly ASRock.

Before this mobo I have I had the Dual775-vsta from asrock, it pretty well sucked @ oc'ing, but it did have a via chipset, if the new 1 has a intel chipset then im sure it will allow for better oc'ing, only if they have redesigned the bios though ;)

Its not complete, but heres what I have so far;

Materials:

2B pencil
conductive pen \ paint

Before making ANY mod permanent I strongly advise you first use the 2B pencil to undo anything that the card doesnt like.

1.47v VGPU vmod:

1.37v VGPU vmod:

Safe voltages would be between 1.4-1.5v, above that things start to get dangerous(you can go up to 1.85v.. but expect your VGPU to die.. fast). Which brings me to my last note, the BIOS which I mod is not guaranteed to give anyone better OC abilities as some cards simply dont have the components on them to take advantage of the voltage table, hence the vmod pics.

can u guys add this to your site please, in the tutorial / guides..?? i was lucky i found it just browsing.. by googling it i didint find anything... if you need help with anyhitng i can help.. but im glad i found this thread non-the-less.. :pimp: :pimp: :pimp:
