Grid or NFS Pro Street or "put the game here"???

I want to play a nice car game and I see this two awesome (at least in graphics) titles. If you know a better one please tell me, but the game must be kinda up-to-date 'cause In my local store don't sell oldy games.

So what of this two are better???....I think NFS are "auto-tune" oriented, like NFS Underground and I didn't like it at all.

imho NFS Pro Street is Poor ,one of the worse NFS titles yet.

Go with Grid ,great fun on and offline.

if you like arcade racing games then youll enjoy the nfs pro street, although the nfs series isnt very realistic, if you prefer a more realistic driving experience/simulation the go for Grid.

grids good fun but gets old soon and i only find fun drifting now but n1 will play me for long.

Neither game is that realistic. If your a realism driver look elsewhere.

I have GRID on PC and it's excellent. It plays on all high (not ultra), all options enabled and 4xMSAA and looks great on my 24" and my setup. 40-50 FPS

go for Grid, I only played the demo but enjoyed the demo more than the retail copy of NFS Pro Street. NFS Pro Street just gets to predictive after the first set of races. A game I can't wait to come out for PC is Burnout Paradise. I loved playing it on Xbox360, friends not mine.

GRID is hands down better than NFSPS. PS cars are basically bricks sliding around on watered surfaces.

Doesn't matter what you get, all that matters is that you have FUN!!!! And guess what ...


All of those games are fun.

PS: But, you know I'd rather see you get GRID.

With steering wheel and pedals (I play with the Logitech G25) NFSPS is a lot better than older NFS games and IMO the driving is a lot closer to simulation realism than older NFS titles and Test Drive Unlimited to give an example. It's still arcade style, but nowhere near older NFS games. It's also far away from being similar to GTR or rFactor in driving realism, but let's say it is somewhere in the middle. It's not physically real, but you have to break and switch gears a lot, and you can't even step on the brake to the bottom, like in arcade games without losing the control over the car. I think it suffices to say that I prefer GTR(2), RACE and rFactor style racing games, but NFSPS was a pleasant surprise when it comes to realism (compared to what I was expecting TBH). As a further comparison, IMO NFSPS driving fidelity >>>> latest Colling McRae game (demo) or Toca 3.

I haven't tried GRID and is probably a lot better as a game than PS. I'm just pointing out that PS has nothing to do with previous NFS games. I hated all NFS since Porsche Unleashed, I liked the driving experience in PS, if the reason you didn't like previous NFS games was the driving, you can try PS. On the other hand looking to PS like a game rather than a "simulator" (it's not one!) it is very repetitive. I mean I prefer "driving simulators" over driving games and those use to be repetitive, but fun at the same time because the fun is in the driving experience, and improving the times lap by lap, every overtaking is a challenge, etc. In this sense PS is an improvement over previous NFS, but otherwise you will hate it.

Go for GRID, although there seem to be alot of complaints when it comes to crashing at the CodeM forums.

Plus a community DLC pack is on the way.

Yes its fun game to play RC-like-buggies, only it lacks gamepad support, you have to control the car by keyboard.
