So I desperately need a new gpu and I'm thinking about picking up the EVGA GTX 480. I need a card that can max dx11 games at 1900x1200 at 30+fps. I would like to go the single gpu route but if you think dualgpu cards would be better then I will consider it. Also I'm a huge fan of Nvidia and EVGA because of past experiences so I would like to stick to their products unless you can convince me otherwise.
So my question is will Nvidia be releasing any single gpu cards with better performance then the gtx480 in the next 6 months or is their next card in the line-up going to be dualgpu?
I've been looking around the web and I saw no sign of the next card in their line-up but logic dictates that Nvidia will be releasing a gpu to compete with the higher end 5970. If anyone could provide more info and suggestions it would be much appreciated. Thank you.
