Hmm... I would really like to see the HD2600XT's Performance with the new 7.10 Drivers, in things OTHER than 3D Mark.

(No offense...but this is a clubhouse and... for some reason its not in the clubhouse section >=(, blasphemy!)

Rivatuner 2.06 beta gives hd2600xt overclocking and fan control. The fan control works well and you can set it at 100%. 100% would normally only kick in at 90C.

I havent tried the overclocking yet.

i cant seem to get past 857, and when i try i get the dreaded black screen!! im not sure if its amd overclock tool or the card, i might try riva tuner!!!

this is what i got stock anyway nothing that good
Hmm I tried AMD GPU Clocktool today as well... Tried to underclock my HD2600Pro a bit. From 600/1400 (700x2) to 350/900 (450x2). The screen went off immediately.

Can anyone confirm that the latest build of RivaTuner is OK for overclocking your HD2xxx?

Btw, I am actually quite curious about the memorychips I have. Rating... Jum :)

Riva Tuner works, but it has problems with the 7.10s. And they give a big
jump to the 2600s.
AMD clock is the best so far. A new Riva should be out on the 12th I think.
Seems to work with the 2600s from what I have read.

This is my 3D06 score - Sapphire HD 2600 PRO

Score - 6608

What did you score with the 7.9's?

And I tried AMD GPU Clock as well but when I tried to lower it my screen went black. Not nice.

I never managed to break 6K with the 7.9s.
High was 59xx.

The 7.10s raised all of the 3D scores. Still playing with them and
AMD Clock. One time its stable, and the next time it isn't. Seems
something to do with ATIs drivers/power managment.

I think that Riva/Unwinder has figured out how to work with it. But I don't have
the new one yet. Still in beta, but seems to work. Thread here:

Heh PT- we need to make some rules about how our 3dmark tests and scores are going to be run.... This one really blew my mind until I read it was done in 1024x768

I have read that it does with the XTs. I don't have two, so can't try it.
Maybe one day.

I'm sorry if I should have higher then 1024X768. I only have a 15" LCD.
I thought the benchmark ran as it wanted to. If I were to set it to
800X600 would I get a better score??

Yes actually you would get a better score.

No need to be sorry lol, just trying to make sure if we are going to be creating a list of people to compare and go off, there is going to need to be a standardized resolution.

1024x768 is what you are stuck with if you have a free copy of 3DMark06. So for some, it can not be helped.

My bad! I rechecked my copy and I believe it's stuck on either your monitors native res or current desktop resolution (regarding the free copy of 3DMark06).

Lots-
Crysis, Need for Speed Carbon, Rainbow 6: Vegas, I'm sure there are plenty, the idea with the 2600xt is it will play anything out there and play it pretty decently well if you are not running massive resolutions or need AA/AF, it tends to kill the card quick because of its 128bit ram.
