I don't think so. Previously, I was using the computer with a VGA onboard Intel G33/G31 chipset family and It still run Autocad 2007 smoothly
. But it's very slow when running programs as Autocad 2013, Skecthup, 3D programs, etc. So i decided to upgraded my computer
Besides, I choose Nvidia 680 because I heard someone said that Nvidia perform 3d very cool. In fact, i selected AMD 7970 in the first time base on this

The last thing, allow me to say that in my country, people who is architects like me. All of them selected Nvidia for working
.
I read and tried a lot of research reviews which you give me before. But I can't understand totally and It make me so confused. Here, i have some VGA
- GIGABYTE Super Overclock gtx 680
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125437
I saw a lot of review about it. It only cost 480$ to have it. But many people say that it's quite heavy and noisy when running.
- GIGABYTE GTX680 OC

Get a lot of compliments but someone say that 3 fans of it isn't really effective. And it's a bit noisy when running continuously
- EVGA Superclocked, Signature 2
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130797
I heard that EVGA is very cool at the warrantly and they have the best support. But it is in the United States. In my country, EVGA really don't be used very much. I really don't know when i have issues, how must i contact them by?
Besides, this VGA seems have many issuses about temperature. Where I live, the weather temperature is about 38*C. It's very hot plus this card if it's also hot. That is hell for me
- MSI N680GTX Twin Frozr

- MSI N680 PE

I can't find any reviews about this VGA??
- Asus GTX 680 OC
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121635
Like MSI GTX 680 PE. I also can't find anything about it. Only have Asus GTX 680 Direct Cu TOP a lot.
I don't know anything about OC and I also don't want to OC. I often work with softwares that I said and I only play games in 1920x1080 resolution with single monitor 23 inch. I need a VGA which has best heat sink and when it's running, it doesn't cause too much noise because I usually work at night.
Thanks for your advice. I also want to use Quadro or AMD FireGL but outside of the work, I want to play games, watch movies, etc. I need a card with the balance of working and entertainment. I don't go into 3d rendering too intensive. My work is only simple that draw things like house, furniture on autocad then build it on 3dmax or sketchup and render it
