Download realtemp and tell us what the "distance to TJmax" is (ignore the temperature readings, only distance to TJ matters)

that means you have 61 degrees til it throttles.

like it mine here, 58/57 til the cores throttle.

What this means is that your CPU isnt overheating... so we're back to square one.

also i see deamon tools i usually associate deamon tools with 1 thing not gonna point out what that is as its a bad thing around here to talk about it but if what i think is the issue i cant really tell him how to fix it either

but yea im gonna guess its the PSU probably some poor oem or low brand unit thats finally on its last legs trying to satisfy that gtx card

what brand PSU. a 600W no name can be worse than a 350W brand name.

i know what u mean about the psu , im not new at this n i trust this brand.
i had a 8800 gts before with 500 watts HEC n i never had problems n i also never had these huge lags

i still think it has something to do with the 2 gb video memory + 4gb ram....not enough adress space to use them n so everything lags

these reports dont take address space into consideration, they're just reporting theoretical maximums. Video ram + system ram = maximum (to the max of 3.5GB in a 32 bit OS)

it reports it this way, because its technically possible for you to run two 3D apps at the same time, each getting 2GB address space to itself

i still think its the PSU to be honest just because u trust a brand dosent mean u wont get a lemon also if the PSU dosent have the proper AMPS on the 12v rails it wont matter what wattage it is everyone things oh its 600wats thats enough but not if the watts are on the 5v line and not the 12volt i want actually PSU specs to make sure

also try uninstalling deamon tools just for giggles and download and install Furmark just to test a theory and when u run furmark have gpu - z open with the sensor tab open and check the temps not just gpu but VDDC etc Furmark

and im NOT out of ideas i had 12 hours of trying to trace down 1 damn error in windows that no one on TPU has or has an answer to so i can come up with ideas all damn day

2. How do you uninstall your drivers and install new ones?

could you tell us what voltages line up with what rail:

EG

3.3V 24A
12v1 20A
12v2 20A

A proper install could solve your problem but a highly fragmented drive can cause shuttering also.
