He he... Perhaps as a hack for advanced user, after all the average joe won't use these. Besides I'd stick up with that if it worked. I so don't want another NVidia motherboard... They are just wrong!

Y a I hear ya I will never get another one...And as you sau not many people know why you would want a intel mobo with nvidia cards anyways so the average joe wouldnot even want this hacked bios for sli on intel...I hopw someone figures this out cuzzz i cant play crysis with one gt hahahahaa

Hi, I was searching allover the internet some time ago (last year) for some way to make my old system work with SLI. In the meantime I've changed hardware, but if this helps you I can still test the drivers on an Asrock 939 SLI32-eSATA2 with a pair of nvidia 7950GT's. So, should I rebuild the old system again or this driver it's not fitted for it?

still a work in progress....we are working on them but its extremely slow going.....like really slow..lines and lines of code to change a 0 to a 1 do that about 40 billion times than when your done look at your list and your 1/16th the way done.

we havent given up and hope fully the next installment might bring something....but its really slow going their is so much to go through and reprogram....DLL hacks bit reconstruction bit comparison binary comparison...ini changes ...registry changes..dv string id changes.

They did it because it has an nvidia chip in it...the drivers dont care if its the NB soutbrigde or something else as long as their is an nvida chip it will enable....i Regret to inform you all that im dropping out of this project for awhile...

with the new drivers i got 177.26 i have found it almost impossible these next gen drivers for the GTX 260 and 280 have so much changed their is no way i can deovte the hours to TRY and figure it out. though i really want to and i probably will in the future. so much has changed in this new installment that any chance of coming close has now been cut off. That and currently this project is taking up alot of my time so much infact that it has cut time from some of my other projects and though i dont usually mind with the complexity of the new drivers i feel its best for me to move on at this point.......until i can figure it out by starting from sqaure 1 again. the only possible way to do it is doing what HP did in the blackbird before changin its final specs and modifying the MB bios with a tag to accept it...and though this would probably be a way easier task to do....it would have to be done to EVERY bios and that is more time than i am willing to devote at this time..

the drivers dont work at all. they're trying to make them and if you read the thread, you'd notice they've hit a wall and stopped for now.

The only way i can see this working is an emulator to fake an nvidia bios being present - if hackers can do it to make a PC appear as a dell bios (the vista OEM hack) then its possible using software, to fake an Nvidia bios/chipset being present too.

Hey everybody. Sorry for the disappearance.

I'm still looking at these when I have time but not with the same intensity I was before. I had identified a few routines in the code that I thought would allow SLI on non-nVidia chipsets but nVidia has tons of extra routines and checks and its really hard to identify them all - and you have to identify all/most of them to get the proper result (that is, to get it working). I also don't have a CrossFire motherboard so I can't test this directly.

With the 4850/4870 out now, it looks like this also won't be as a big a deal but we'll see.

Still working on it when I have a time as I said, but for now, sorry folks. Solaris will let you know I'm sure if he has any luck.
