The stock fans on an H100i go up to 2700RPM, you might want to adjust the fan profile to performance mode or manually bump the speed up. That should reduce your temps to be just fine.
this what i got :(

well that seems all in order aside from the temps
How is the rad mounted?
Is this with the case open to ensure there isn't a lack of airflow to the rad ?

Hmm, well it does not seem to be a product malfunction because the pump speeds are fine and so are the fans...

Do you have the fans pushing or pulling air through the radiator?

Also you might want to try a different program than AI suite to see what the temps are. In all honesty I have had problems with the AI suite in the past on my Crosshair V-Z board from Asus with temps being a bit inaccurate. I like hardware monitor if i'm watching temps personally, but that's just me.

Isn't vcore temp referring to the voltage regulators? Those are going to get hot. They're generally built for it.

but not to 75s-80s c .... i think the problem is the thermal paste thats why the cpu is too hot ,, idk about the vcore

Try re-seating the CPU cooler with a fresh amount of Thermal Paste from a decent brand (MX2, Arctic Silver 5, etc) and see if that helps because it should be able to cool a 9370 and it does not seem like its not making contact.

That H100i should and does handle that CPU fine. My H100i still cooled my CPU fine while it was consuming over 300 Watts so that 220Watts should be totally OK.

What AI suite shows here is the socket temperature, which can get a bit hot because this socket and VRM area doesn't really have a lot of ventilation going on.
Heat from both the CPU and the VRM tends to build up in the socket, even when the CPU is properly cooled. This doesn't really matter as both parts are designed with these temperatures in mind and wont degrade as a result of these temperatures(close/over 100 degrees would've been a different matter).

If you want to lower those temperatures, there is a simple way: place a fan over the VRM and or socket.

WP_20140613_004.jpg (My sabertooth with an 8350 at 4,8GHz cooled by an H100i)

This for me helps a great deal when in comes to lowering those temperatures, especially when overclocking loads.

no it isn't check the benchmark's on the 100i it hits a wall at about 200W TDP

you aren't gonna keep a 220W cpu below 70c with a h100i you need a 240MM rad and a beefier pump
ESPECIALLY if you live in a warm hot cliement

Uh last I checked h100i is a 240mm radiator. It is very thin however. A real water cooling loop with more water, better pump, and a better thicker 240 rad would do much better.

75-80c is actually an average temp for vrms. I wouldn't worry about that.

..and yep.

That's what I was getting at. Not only is 220w to the CPU going to make the VRMs hot, but the lack of cooling in that area won't help either since VRM heatsinks often rely on the CPU fan to move some air around. All that said, they should work fine at 70-80c. If you get really worried about it, there should be VRM water blocks for the Sabertooth.

Touch the short side of the radiator - where the water tank is. If its cold, there is something wrong with pump/ paste. If its warm, its ok. AS others said unless you have fan directly over VRM, this temp is normal.
Intel and AMD temps cant be compared ,they use completely different method of measuring.
70 degrees on socket is not that bad, waht is your coretemp reading

yea I indeed my bad I later corrected that statement saying he needs double thick rad
with 80F+ ambient temps a h100i isn't gonna do the job
the people here saying that the h100i is enough don't understand that the ops ambient temps are most likely above 85-90F that alone will tack 15c onto the temps
again thats 220W of cpu there it takes a MASSIVE cooler to rain that in even with sane ambient temps he lives in the dessert ...
@Op for clarification what is the TEMP inside your room ?

Apart from the h100i having a 240mm rad... Their are dozens of instances of people pushing 5ghz on these with some voltage and lower temps than he is showing.

I have a similar problem hence the reason I found this thread. The cooler is fine for a 9590 - it's actually recommended by amd and they package an identical unit.

In your case I can only assume - like mine....somehow their is bad contact (which mine is lapped so ya got me) or a bad pump.

My tubing nor rad are getting warm and the pump feels like it's pulsing, trying to find out if that's normal - anyone using one they can put their hand on and see if it's a consistent uniform vibration, or a pulse?

i tried both

Flip the fans. For starters your trying to cool your rad with hot air from inside the case lol. You should be taking cool air from outside the case. Whether push or pull.. That's up to u .

General rule of thumb is high rpm fans are better in push - lower in pull. In my case, I am getting 2 degrees lower temps with 2 levels higher vcore by going from push to pull with the stock corsair cheapies that come with this.

Was unexpected but I was desperate. Still am tbh. 9590 @ 4.8x1.475vcore = 69c via IBT on VH.

would be titties if it were my intel chip - alas amd throttles around the temp my haswell would be considered cool at :(
