I'm looking for this cards bios ASUS EAH5850 DirectCU TOP

I have the regular ASUS EAH5850 DirectCU and it is limited to 900 core in smart doctor and Afterburner per Underwire doesn't support it. I believe the tops bios allows smart doctor up to 1200 core can someone post this bios I know it was reviewed a while back.

I used to own one of these cards. I had a whole conversation with underwire as well as other who had the card at that time MSI AB did support the card with a cfg. file addition adding that voltage chip support to MSI AB.

I would give you the links to find all of those conversations.... but I can't seem to find them either right now.

But none the less.... I never used that cfg file. I if remember correctly I used ASUS smart doc to control the voltage and msi ab to control th clocks.

Regardless I know there is a way to do it with out that much effort. Why because I did it.... sorry I couldn't be much more help... but it's been a couple months since I owned a couple of 5850's and that Direct CU

Well the clocks work fine just setting the voltage in smart doctor and the clocks in Afterburner( I installed them in that order then set the voltage, then clocks and Smart Doctor starts first with After burner next and they work great together) 1000+ core 5000+ memory, plus with this Zalman cooler this card screams past a 5870 for about 100.00 less including the heat sink. This Zalman heat sink is the Bomb!!! It is the first VGA heat sink that matches Arctic Cooling in a long time. It is the best 5850 cooler out no doubt about it.

Okay still looking for the top bios of this card. It does allow smart doctor to have a higher clock so one tool can be used.

Okay found the bios it works but you must unlock the rom to flash

here is how you do it.

This works the rom has to be unlocked then you can flash it and it allows the clocks to go from 900/5000 to 950 /5200 in smart doctor allowing you to use one tool.
type like it is below at the c prompt
atiflash -unlockrom 0
atiflash -f -p 0 FLASHME.BIN

I don't see it all of them list core clocks of 725 for asus 5850 and thats not the tops version.

I tired to upload my bios and it said it was already in the system as the bios name i mentioned. Here is a screen of Smartdoctor going up to 950 with gpu-z.

True, but your paying a premium for these cards with the same features as reference cards (voltage control), while the normal run of the mill non-reference cards usually have crappy volt-reg. See XFX.
Built by ATI cards were reference- always.

yes but I wouldn't just take on out and flash it in the first slot.

Yes, when entering the flash command line, a "0" should indicate that you want the card in the 1st PCI-E slot to flash, a "1" should indicate the card in the 2nd slot. So for example.......

atiflash -p 0 biosname.rom...... for 1st slot................ atiflash -p 1 biosname.rom ....... for 2nd slot....................... atiflash -pa biosname.rom ..... for both slots.
