Nice going peche!what CPU % are you using? you should be making much more than 200 points a day with those cpus but i have heard that it takes time for boinc and your pc to start working in harmony

I'm having also a little desync between what Free-DC says and what actually BOINC says. Yesterday they perfomed one of the updates in Free-DC and it indicated I had 304.496 points, while BOINC-Manager was telling me more than 306k points one hour before that. So it can be that as well, or "pending" results that still need to be validated to get the credit. :toast:

But it's weird since I assume they are getting their stats from WCG / Boinc. why would there be a difference. Not that i care just wondering how these stat pages work

Maybe they access a static file that BOINC provides and it's not live-updated as when you click "Update" button on the manager. I mean, it can be that as the file can be older (just by some hours) than the new fresh data you're collecting. I don't know how Free-DC exactly works but I guess it's normal that lil desync having in consideration the HUGE amount of data they collect/process every day. Honestly, i'm just speculating and I'd like to know exactly how it works too, just by professional deformation ... i'm a software engineer so I'd love to see "how it's done" :toast:

Correct! Your BOINC Manager will show the most up to date info and FreeDC updates their info 2 or 3 times per day.

*Note- There are a few other stats sites out there and all of them use a slightly different system so comparing them isn't apples to apples
