So my new card just arrived. MSI GTX 980ti Gaming 6G. Excited to get home and start installing and benching. I decided on the MSI because my current 780ti is same brand and has been an excellent card that overclocks really well.
I decided to get the video card before I moved to Skylake/DDR4. I am very curious to see how this card performs on my i7 930 and if it is being held back much. I know there are others out there in my position still on overclocked i7 9xx and i7 2x00's.
Unfortunately EK hasn't released a full coverage block for this yet but their configurator says they have one coming soon. Which is ok because I can see what this card can do on stock cooling.
Cheers!
