Need Help Purchasing A New Graphic Card + Power Supply

Seems like the 460 require 2 pins of connect.

Still undecided whether i should go for 5770 or 460 as for power and graphic performance. If the 460 has a slight better performance then i would prefer going 5770 as the cheap and valuable.

I am already settle with the power supply. Rosewill Green Series RG630-S12 630W Continuous @4... just incase i do future upgrades so i need a bit of more watts just in case.

So my 3 choices are either

GIGABYTE GV-R577SO-1GD Radeon HD 5770 1GB 128-bit ...
SAPPHIRE 100283-3L Radeon HD 5770 1GB 128-bit GDDR...
EVGA 768-P3-1360-TR GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) 768MB ...

GTX460 stomps on the 5770...no competition actually....dunno why peeps would recommend that card still....it may use less power....but that's because it doesn't give you the performance that the GTX 460 can.

Well here are other PSU i saw that are within that price range of the rosewill:

Coolermaster silent pro:

Check out OCZ they got alot of PSU on rebate for under $70

Edit: thats the 1GB model of gtx460 raptor linked but even then the 768mb stomps the 5770 aswell and the 5830 1GB.

As far as i read the previous link about GTX460. I am going to stay with 460.

But i am now still needing a power supply that provides whats needed and for a future proof just incase a slight upgrade and with a good price on total with graphic card and psu.

If you are only going to play MW2 stay with the 5770, it can max out that game easily, both cards will be bottlenecked by your CPU. Unless you are planing to upgrade your CPU go for the 5770 (less heat, less power needed).

My father's PC used a similar CPU with a 4870 (similar to a 5770) and the card performed poorly until he upgraded to a Phenom 2 X4 955

No CPU upgrade go for the 5770

CPU upgrade some time in the near future, go for the GTX460

I am planning to do a future upgrade but not anytime soon probably later in a year or so, i am trying to built up slowly and be a future proof slowly but not insanely playing games like crysis nor any in particular.

If you seen the OCZ PSU list i linked it has a 700w psu available aswell like these 2:
If your not really going do any extreme overclocking or tri-sli or whatever you should be perfectly fine with these 700w

I would still get a corsair psu though just for fact i have great experience with my one.
I would still go for the GTX460 due for fact its more powerfuler than 5770 by a lot and it cost the same as the gigabyte you linked.

I am not planning to do any sli nor anything in particular, just want a psu that is somewhat future proof for upgrades like cpu upgrade and motherboard. Not doing sli nor anything like that.

Is there a cheaper psu that perform similar or better beside the rosewill that i am thinking in mind?

Its actually $250 exactly if you do the after rebate and if you want even cheaper there is this Antec Earthwatt 500w which is $50 after rebate:

OR if you want really good quality get this seasonic and seasonic manufactures Corsair psu i believe so you can bet this PSU is really reliable:

OH that antec looks old and i prefer the new psu where there is a big fan on top. Do u have one in mind thats around $60-$70?

Don't think there is anymore cheaper Antec psu,i would go for the seasonic 520w psu as it will be all you need if you use only single gpu,HDD use nothing and upgrading to future CPU be fine as long as its nothing really intense like some i7 extreme or something with crazy overclock.
The seasonic be enough for any single GPU and any CPU.
