Hey guys, after reading all these threads and deciding that for the sake of air flow and cable management i might reinvest some money into my system for a new case (only really have around £60 at most :/ )

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas because i really dont see anything that strikes me currently on the market (that i've looked at) I was looking for something with some fan control and tempreture gauages. a side window so i can get some good lighting in it for looks and a good amount of slots for fans. the colour design im looking for black and maybe blue/purple but i dont mind the second colour really. but overall has enough space in it really to get into it and create a nice air flow.

Anyway hope somebody comes up with a good suggestion cause i really am stumped on this one!

you dont need a lot of fans if you use them the right way.
I would put one in the lower DVD tray, thats 2 120s in the front.

hmm i curently have 2 intakes on the front of my case, 1 exhaust on the top which io attached to a straight funnel style plastic to improve the suck of air, and 1 exhaust on my back panel but the air flow still seems poor :/

X-Cruiser only supports 80mm fans which cannot be controlled individualy, door is hard to open and blocks intake, material is flimsy, oem clearance, gauges, spacers.

 the echo of my laughter will haunt you in your dreams! modding is not the answer the case is too mind boggling if you tried to mod it you would come to the conclusion it's cheaper just to construct your own case. buy a new one ANY one :p

yer that looks like a really sweet case, i suppose i could purchase a new side for it with a side window, and could drill out a few holes in the window for a fan or two. not sure though :/

you dont need a lot of fans that has 1 side intake over the VGA, 2 front and 2 exhaust+the PSU and keeps the case @ room temp. it also makes almost no noise.

haha and sorry about the terrible wiring when i get the new parts for my PC i will do it correctly

The side fan is just for show (does very little)
the sidways Hdds block most of the incoming air (terrible design)

I like the case you are using better.

cases are hard to get input on, everyone has something they like better or worse. For me its cooling #1 and looks #2.

I modded an aspire X Dreamer II case for my neighbor and it cooled really well, thats why I built my last mod in such a cheap case (to show they cool just as good the expensive ones)

There seem to be a lot of people that like the CM 690 case, its big.

+1 on the 690.:respect:

There are some good reviews in the review database on this case.

I don't know what the U.K. price is, but I'd definitely say it's a worthwhile buy.

I would rather have waited and saved up for a Coolermaster stacker 832 as I have it and put away a Antec 180 and 900. Don't get me wrong the Antec cases are good cases and with my big clmsy hands and with the size of these new GFX cards, I just find it so much easier to work with the Coolermaster 832.

Especially if you thinking of upgrading at a later stage.
