I've only found E8400 CPUs but this should change. So far, in stock pricing ranges from $189.99 to $229.90 for the E8400. Some sites are not in the USA

    E8400
    All Star Shop
    Antares Digital
    ATACom
    Central Computers
    Clubit
    Direct Canada
Komplett (language is unknown to me so I take Sniper at his word)
    Memory Express
    Microcenter
    Mwave
    Newegg
    NCIXUS
    OCUK
    PC for Everyone
Scan avail at end of Jan
    Tank Guys
    td Direct (not tiger direct)
    ZipZoomFly

    E8500

ATACom avail at end of Jan
    Clubit
Scan avail at end of Jan
PC for Everyone should be available mid week

    Any others?

Unfair.. Komplett in Sweden don't have them. :(

Not that it matters as I'm quite happy with my current CPU. :)

Actually, I pre ordered from these guys, and I should receive my e8400's by tomorrow afternoon. These guys seem good, and have been very responsive to my emails. 2nd day shipping was only $16 for 2 of them, which isn't bad. I was lucky though, I jumped on the e8400 when the pre order price was $199. Now I believe it is $119, and the e8200 is $209.

yes but you have to added atleast 20.00 in sales tax plus gas to get there so it's really not cheaper

Indeed it does. On another note, I try and order seldom from Newegg because they charge sales tax in a few states, New Jersey being one of them :(

just one thing.. the places that dont actually have any (pre-order) are likely to be cheaper than those that do have some.. if u really want one..dont penny pinch too much..

OC/UK have some 8400s and 8200s.. no 8500s.. the last are the hardest to get it seems not many out there in the wild..

    http://www.overclockers.co.uk/productlist.php?groupid=701&catid=6&sortby=nameAsc&subid=&mfrid=4

intel aint gonna flood the market with these things either.. dont assume that by waiting u are gonna pay less.. it aint gonna happen.. they are too good and will hit intels older stuff too hard.. after this first lot dry up i dont think we will see any more for a while..

similar but very different.. the quad will get a higher cpu score but lower game score.. the dual will be the other way around.. as i say.. similar but very different..

i have been useing the e8400 since jan the 21st when the first batch was released.. nice cool running chip.. mine runs 24/7 at 450 x 9 = 4.050 gig..
