Yes, it is the same card.. dunno why she gave me so much stress, now it works like a charm again. :)

The question is, how long! :p

ATi X800XT PE AGP 600/600 24/7

vgpu: 1.60
vdd: 2.15
vddq: 2.22

Since I'm not doing any high voltage on the gpu I decided not to do the igpu vmod.

Hi !

First post here ! :rockout:

**sorry my poor english...**

I got a Sapphire X800GTO² and I plan to vmod my card. It will be aircooled with an ATI Silencer 5 Rev.2. What mod do I need to perform ? Do I need the 4 vmod (IGPU, VGPU, VDD, VDDQ) ?

Thanks !

ok I vmodded my card

what voltage are safe on air ? (VGPU, VDD & VDDQ)
I was thinking VGPU @ 1.5v, VDD @ 2.3-2.4, VDDQ ?

Thanks

Simon

It is a useless and unneeded mod anyway.

Second that!

How high u can clock ur GTO2 with the Vmods?

I'm waiting ViperJohn Turbo Magnum-I GPU Cooler, SuperSink-VI Ramsinks, Vcore PS Sinks :D

Currently on stock cooling...(X850XT PE bios @ 620/630)

Can't wait to receive better cooling to push my card :rockout:

It seems that the GTO2s have really nice cores! Maybe i try to get one and sell my X850XT. :D

What Vgpu for the 620MHz? I need 1,58V for that, surely stable for hours of gaming. ;)

I cannot push over 1.51 atm :S

This was bench stable (not ATItool Artifacts free)

Hi,

First, sorry for my poor english,

I'm new here and this Forum is really interessting.
As I'm also overclocking, I thought I could ask some questions about your expierences.

Well, I've a X800XT PE and already done a Voltmod@1.68Volt. Now the stable speed is 630Mhz.
Mem speed is 610Mhz (also voltmod @2,12V
But if the card is under load like in games or benchmarks the Voltage goes down to 1,58Volt.
Is this normal??More important; can I avoid this behavior of the card.
I've to say everything is cooled very well (GPU temp@load max. 40°C)

By the way. Does anyone know where exately are the Voltage-changer (oh I don't think that the name it called; hope
you will know what I mean, Sorry!) I think I've found them already but only to be sure.

How high you getting your card? Is 630 already the end?

Thanks everyone!!

Welcome Nightmare ... the vdroop is normal, I have a X800XTPE as well at 1.70v and the voltage will droop .05v - .08v as well, with 645/630 max stable speeds ... check out the card here ... post some pics :rockout:

The vcore regulator is going into active current limiting mode and that is normal behavior for an x800 AGP card. If the regulator is running in spec, which yours is, the loaded Vcore will clamp at around 1.580 even though you are increasing the unloaded Vcore. There are mods to correct it but they are well beyond the skill and tools most user have.

With the correct mods you can also get the Vcore to boost when the card loads up instead of droop.
