I think they are 8.

I must say i have read reviews that overclocking wise they are on par with the Q6600. That because of the low multi on the Q9450.
They are supposed to do 3.6/4.0 on good air cooling and a good motherboard of course.

I just looked it up and normal sale prices are going to be €260.

This is 4ghz, stock voltage, ram stock speed @ 1066mhz but with 4/4/4/6 timings

this is with all 4 cores active for the run, will see what i can get with affinity for each core
