Right ckick the AMD CCC icon at the bottom right of your task bar and then go to 1: AMD Radeon 7850 > Set Desktop area to and go right down the bottom of the list which should have your maximum desktop resolution.

Also make sure you have installed the drivers for your monitor if you have not.

google model and manufacturer or part number (those should be on stickers somewhere at the back of the screen) and find tech specs or review.

Windows\Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display\Screen Resolution

nb: This information will also be in the specs for the monitor check the manufacturer's website

Note: forcing a monitor to use settings outside of the manufactures guide may resault in damage or a blank screen
