I love the black color scheme. Very sexy.

So the first pic must be the 4870, then 4650?, 4870x2, 4850 (backside), 4870x2 (backside), 4870 (basckside), and 4850.

The black does look quite good. I would rather glossy black though, not the carbon-fiber like. But pickers cant be choosers with such a good promise of performance increases over the last generation.

The 4870X2 heatsink looks very similar to the 3870X2 except for the 2nd GPU block being cooper instead of aluminum

I don't know amd amd lied though, chiphell has pics that prove the default core clock for the 4850 is 900mhz

lol, the 4870x2 is the same except for the copper heatpipe & block - that thing will be heavy as hell. The 4850 is exactly the same while the 4870 seemed to adopt the heavy as hell design of the x2. The clear black on the x2 is a nice touch though.

At least we know, that 4850 will not be that hot. Since an old 3850 cooler can handle all the heat.

Yes, that's what they always do, the GPU might be different, but they make sure they use the same pin-outs/ball grid so they could use the same PCB/cooler. I liked the HD4870 X2 cooler the most.

well the heatsink for the 9800GTX is like the one on the 8800 G92 GTS, so im pretty sure the card is more efficient than the previous but alot more powerful.
