Reclaimer will be going up at $350 today! Can't wait - especially as it comes with LTI for everyone who gets one now. Looking forward to seeing more info on the ship as it's meant to be big and is the first salvage ship and ship with drones so lots of new things to see and learn about.

I always enjoy "fishing" for downtime in these sort of games. Wandering around looking for destroyed husks and drones was a lot of fun in Eve for me.

I highly doubt that I'd fly a Reclaimer within the first month or so of the game being released. I'll pass on the utility ships until game time.

Think of all that salvage in the first month - so many new players, so many new ships. You can add a reclaimer to my ship list - I just hope that the other tier 3 ship sales don't force me to melt it later on...

got my 4k problem fixed!

UPDATE FIX FOUND:

Erin W,
customer service rep I believe.

This guy is a God send.
I do not know him and this is not a joke.
I have been dealing with Nvidia level 2 and Samsung level 2 and 3 support for well over a month now,
because my 4k Samsung was not working in 4k. It would blackscreen on me when I went into any 4k res.
I have spent hours and hours and hours dealing with this.
I have pulled my hair out and bled inside this computer over this..
After going through owning my gtx 680s and getting no solution then upgrading to the 9 series and still getting no help
At the end of my rope. When I had finally lost all hope and given up.

Swear to God I was feeling defeated like this, trapped with zero hope and no help:

I got an email from EVGA so I decided to call them up.
We start running through the basics, try one card at a time etc.
Then Erin W tells me that maybe I need to enable UHD colors..
UHD colors? huh?

?!
NEVER,
not even ONCE,
from dealing with all these people who call themselves "professionals" in tech support, did ONE single person even hint at such a thing.
My problem is solved and EVGA has a lifelong buyer now. My mobos, my gpus, hell, if I need a blood transfusion, I'm getting it from EVGA!

LOL, so I figured out why my performance was so horrid on v0.9 even on the lowest settings.

Today I happened to look in CCC to see if my power settings were at +20%, and what do I see?
My GPU clock was a 500MHz...... >_> lol :slap:

I had forgotten I did that as an experiment to see if heat would be less when my card was running multi-monitor.
I still need a new GPU though. lol :ohwell:

So, with increasing the rate at which the textures load, I'm spiking up and over 5gb's of Vram being used with the asteroid hangar. This game is going to need one hell of a beefy card. Currently they've gimped how fast textures load so current cards can run the hangar.

4k, UHD, Maxed settings update:

Some very promising fps in the Deluxe hangar with my Connie.
I have playable FPS with ONE GTX 980 enabled.
Barely playable though.
With two however it may actually be playable.
So I hope they fix sli soon.

I didn't expect it to run so good.
Pretty stoked I might be able to play this in 4k.

The deluxe and the aero view hangars seem to be the lightest on the GPU. The asteroid hangar is nuts. It wants all the vram it can get!

I didn't know about an asteroid hangar. I must has one!
Still though @4k on my one gtx 680, it was completely unplayable.
Shows promise.

EDIT: Dam I guess you can't buy that hangar by it's self.
