It would not be, have you ever played a mmorpg? They suck when there is nobody around. These kind of games are played with thousands of players, it's a whole virtual world. As a fleet (or guild, corp, clan, etc) you want to have other fleets to fight against or to befriend. Diplomacy is a very interesting part of games like this, it keeps things interesting.

i have played on lineage 2 private servers where around 300 players on a single server :)

Funny story lineage 2 was, server software actually leaked. Far better than hacked together servers. On the other game, the game plays just like any Asian MMO, missions like "kill 20 Oompa Loompas" and "Bring 20 vampire fangs". It's just grinding and villages full of people with their stores. I fail to see much diplomacy in there, no depth.

Well i'm not sure how much of a player I would be. I am pretty much hell bent on completing Oblivion at the moment (yes i know im late but I just never got round to it!)

Does anyone know how much it would cost each month? I would love to be part of a TPU empire in the stars though! :D

Im gonna move quickly to US if I win lol as its only for US/Canada.


I actually hoped for more on the ship actions. Im dissapointed with the idea of 1player-ship as I found the idea of a lot off ppl running one ship a great factor to a lot of teamplay.
Play elite force 1/2 there you can 'interact' a bit around the ship and I imagined it would be something similar here.

Somebody said that WoW gfx are wery good ? Are you blind ? There is nothing high end on wow gfx except for some HDR additions which are also an OLD idea.
WoW runs on its unique style of drawings which ppl like so much not on quality textures or anything regarding GFX quality. If you would look carefully you can see it even has a single texture on the 'floor' for every region and ofcourse grass made out of 'paper sheets' just like ColinMcrea rally game had >10 years ago.
But nobody notices that because everybody loves the drawing style which is ENOUGH for an MMO.
