Hardest game I've played? Thats easy. Ever tried to button up your "button fly" jeans before your girlfriends dad opened the bedroom door? Add a half liter of Vodka to the mix and you have a helluva hard game on your hands!

That game is easy. I wear slightly longer shirts and just cover up for a temp solution. I kept a Calculus book with me when I visited her. When he asked what we were doing, I just told him I was helping her with some math work. We broke up before he realized his daughter was a broadcasting major and took the only math class she needed 2 years before she meet me.

i played that one on nightmare difficulty.. you start with your boxers off, i did a diving role for the bathroom, and i almost made it

Any shoot 'em up game are Hard games, specially:

Axelay [my all time fav]
R-type
Super Alesta
Ikaruga
and so on....

BUT hands down to Metal Slug series, I always wasted like 5 bucks on the arcades and never beated them >< and i was good at it too!...so much that i had people gather around me, but that game still kicked my arse.

Yeah, I want to be the guy is definitely the hardest. I am at the Bird boss and I have died 307 times. Getting through the Ghouls and Ghosts level was insane.

Hardest game ever? Echo the dolphin on the master system 2. First level you needed to be able to jump over an obstacle...but the game wouldn't let you jump high enough. ever.

the X2/x3 series of games for pc were pretty hard, just because of the sheer amount of time you'd need to get a decent fleet for some of the missions. Hella fun though.

Here's one I have that I forgot about. It's an adventure game (ala Myst) with mind numbingly hard puzzles. It's called Schizm : Mysterious Journey.

One reviewer stated that the only people who would like the game were people with advanced degrees in engeneering or people who had a walk-through.
