TPU Connectivity Issue. 6/17/09

No graphics on the front page are loading at all here and smilies are broken too.

The page load times are excessively slow right now, along with no images showing at all, no icons, no smileys, no sigs, no avatars, nada in that respect. Also had an issue last night for about 10 minutes where TPU wouldn't load at all. I must say I've noticed a lot more connectivity issues in the last year or two in comparison to my first year or two between lurking and joining. I suppose it'll happen for a variety of reasons, but damn it sucks! I find myself to continue pressing refresh until TPU returns!

Frontpage loads find for me. I was trying to get 21x195 on my i7 and thought I was good. Take a could ss to post over here and then suddenly become concerned that my system is about to crash......I don't care for the Chinese much anymore.

Why would they attack TPU!?, I've only done DoS attacks on source servers after getting banned by an abusive admin and such (very easy and effective way to cripple a server . It puzzles me why someone would attack TPU

probably cause some spammer came here selling WoW gold, and got pissed we kept banning him.

Hmmmm seems like a bot attack to me. Multiple connections from multiple IP's that come from the west coast in the States. Might be aggressive Google bots. They have taken my website down a few times. Now my site bans they're IP addresses when they get too agressive.

no real explanation why it crashed, it shouldnt. gave varnish some more cache to play with, hopefully that helps
