Come tax time, I may upgrade my media server with 1. an SSD and 2. a larger hard drive. I see these types of SSD as the cheapest. I don't need to spend a lot of money for storage (I realize this is 24GB, that will be ample space) or massive speeds (even this should be many times faster than the aging hard disk). Could I simply plug in the power and SATA cables onto this thing and let it go? It's not going to be moving at all, so if it can work just sitting there it'll be fine.
